Passionate and dedicated are just a few of the terms Angela’s clients use to describe her level of commitment to them. As an award-winning Realtor with the Lee Goldstein Group of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, she does not rest until her client’s goals have been met – from securing their dream home, to assisting them in selling, to investing for their futures. Licensed in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia, Angela has over 15 years experience in the industry.
Angela began as a transaction coordinator and settlement agent for a title company. During her time as a transaction coordinator, she developed excellent communication skills, learned the importance of ensuring deadlines were met, and the need to anticipate potential obstacles and present her clients with options to avoid them. Eventually moving into real estate sales, she quickly saw success and was awarded the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS’s Rookie of the Year. More recognition followed for Angela as one of the “Best of Washington” Realtors by the Washingtonian. Angela was featured by DC Metro Real Producers as a 2017 Rising Star. In 2018, she was named one of “Three Realtors to Know” by the Washington Business Journal. She is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP).
Angela believes her role is to serve as her clients’ trusted advisor and as a facilitator. She truly listens to her clients’ needs and wants throughout the entire process to ensure they are making their best financial decision. She knows it is critically important for her buyers and sellers to grasp the details of buying and selling their largest asset, and Angela is there at every step to explain, answer questions, and guarantee a smooth transaction from their first meeting with her through their successful settlement.
A native of Colombia, Angela’s desire to serve others extends outside her business. She volunteers monthly with the KIND organization, where she helps distribute food to children in need at local elementary schools. She is the proud mother of three children – Sofia, Valentina, and Oliver, and enjoys attending soccer games, dance competitions, and traveling. She and her family love their time visiting their relatives in Colombia, but also exploring the various cultures and places around the world by immersing in the local food and traditions of the cities and towns they visit. Angela brings her travels home, where she loves creating that spirit of adventure in the kitchen with family and friends.
Eris is a native Washingtonian, having grown up in Potomac, Maryland and graduating from Thomas S. Wootton High School. She’s very familiar with the entire region having lived in Virginia: Reston, where her daughter was born and in McLean; as well as Maryland, having resided in Olney, Silver Spring and Gaithersburg. When purchasing her first home, it was difficult to decide on which state, as Eris and her family were very happy in both! Ultimately, Eris and her husband have decided to raise their family in Potomac, Maryland.
Real estate is in her family’s blood, on both her and her husband’s sides. Her in-laws founded and owned the recognized firm of Legum & Norman, and her stepmother is also a realtor. Real estate became her passion when she purchased her first home in 2002, Eris enjoyed the entire process. From searching for a home, considering the advantages and disadvantages of each property, to making the best deal and then renovating and decorating the home to make it her own. This strong family history in real estate, and her desire to ensure her clients are treated like family see Eris putting her client first, keeping them informed every step of the way, and working diligently on their behalf to ensure the home buying or selling process is streamlined and smooth.
Eris and her husband own a local business, Norman’s Farm Market. For over 30 years, they’ve served the DC Metro Area growing produce at their 60-acre farm in Woodbine, Maryland in Howard County. They sustainably grow fruits and vegetables to sell at four roadside markets and through a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program. She and her husband love providing fresh food to their customers, and getting to know so many of them on a personal level.
Eris and her husband are raising their two children in Potomac. Their oldest is in high school and is a ballet dancer. The younger child is in middle school and loves all types of sports, skateboarding and cruising the neighborhood on his bike. When not at their home in Potomac, the family enjoys spending time at a family home in Bethany Beach or skiing at Wisp in Deep Creek Lake.
